I have been working on some fairly large projects, But I just had to take time out and do this design as the itch to create a doily was starting to get to me. So here is my cure for the itch. I am calling it Contessa. It measures 16.75 inches across. I did it in peach and rust. I used my size 7/1.65mm hook. Yes it is a pineapple design.
Sometimes my addiction gets the best of me.

Very pretty...it's partly the color, but the outer edge reminds of me of maple leaves. And I have to say, Kathy, you are amazing at thinking up names for all these projects. When I think of what I went through to name my 4th *child*...you are so good at it, you should have had a dozen. :lol

BEAUTIFUL! I :manyheart pineapples and never get tired of designs with them in it.

Thank you everyone for you nice comments. It felt good to be working on a doily even though I was suffering with a cold and kept having to redo because I couldn't seem to quit making stupid mistakes. Fuzzy brains.....

Kathy, it's just magnificent! I can't get over how quickly you come up with such gorgeous, intricate designs! If I thought for a year I couldn't do one, and you turn them out as quickly as other people crochet dishcloths, it seems! I am in awe of your talents! :manyheart
