Hi!
I'm looking for a nice border to add to a large rectangle granny that's going to be a baby blanket. I'm not sure what might look nice but I was hoping for something simple, yet "girly". Any suggestions?
Thanks! :manyheart

I'm a huge fan of the shell border where you do a 5 DC shell, skip one stitch do a sc skip a stitch do a 5 dc shell etc all around. I usually do 7 or 9 dc in the corners whichever works out for the yarn and pattern. I have to admit I kind of wing it!

I do one for the baby girl blankets that I love and is really easy to do! When I am finished with the blanket, I sc around the whole thing ~ doing 3 sc, ch 2, 2sc in each corner. Then I go back around and do 3 dc in each sc with 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in each corner. It looks like lace around it!
