NATCROMO Freeform

I am new to freeform crochet but I came across a freeform crochet along in honor of National Crochet month and decided what the heck.. It is national crochet month, I may as well learn something new. So the idea of the CAL is that we are given a different word everyday and then we crochet whatever it inspires. I have only began so it isn't much so far but is alot of fun:cheer I will update as it grows into something more:hook
so far I have worked three days and the words were apple, blossom, and crab. click for larger

I was thinking that maybe we should try some type of freeform CAL here on crochetville:think has it been done before?? I proboly never would have thought to try it if not for a CAL and it may encourage others to explore it:hook With all of the talent here in the 'ville I am sure that it would be pretty interesting

Wow, that looks great. I think that NATCROMO is the perfect thing to get me to try my hand at freeform. I have some co-ordinating yarns set aside for just that purpose. Thanks for the inspiration.
