This photo is terrible. It's actually really pretty....for scraps! I managed to get rid of a how big bag of odds and ends. I might just keep the ugly thing! :lol

It was actually pretty easy. I made the squares up in two days and joined it with the black last night and this morning. It's only about 5'X5' so.....it was pretty quick.

Thanks! :D

Oh I LOVE it!! I got a couple of afghans like that when I got married (unfortunately, didn't appreciate it at the time - although one was used so much it pilled and eventually little fell apart because the centers weren't as solid as they might have been) and absolutely LOVED them. I think it's beautiful!

That is NOT ugly! It's gorgeous! I love using up all my scraps to create something 'new' and useful. I think that's one of the reasons I love to crochet. I think your afghan is beautiful. :manyheart

Well, the colors aren't true in the pic. The flash makes the bright colors brighter and the dark colors darker. Should've taken it outside, I guess.

Thanks! :D

I don't find it ugly, but that could be because I remember one just like it when I was a little girl. Bring back good memories.:c9

I say keep it.:hook

You did a great job!
Honestly, one reason I started to crochet is that my mom made an afghan out of scraps that I absolutely adore! They may be made from scraps by our projects are made with love!

Very pretty. Them blues did the trick. What square pattern is that? Did you get it somewhere on the net? Could you PM me how to get that square?
