I just got around to making another doiley. This one is for my bf's mom. It's the Petit Pineapple pattern, found here http://members.aol.com/lffunt/petitepine.htm

Very pretty. I have been thinking about trying to make my first doily! This one looks like it would be pretty easy to try.

Very pretty. I have been thinking about trying to make my first doily! This one looks like it would be pretty easy to try.

It's very easy. It only took me 2 evenings to do and this is only the 2nd thread project I've done. Definetly give it a try!

I have that pattern as well, it is very quick to work and I too used verigated thread (I know, I need to get pics ASAP!!! :lol ) But to tell the truth, I made 3 doilies and only one of them was verigated. In fact, that was the very absolute doily of pineapples I did do and that is what hooked me....:devil
