afghan with children on it

I am on the board of directors for a local Day Care Center and we have an annual Silent Auction every year at Christmas. I would like to crochet an afghan to auction off with children on it (like the old paper dolls you cut out and they're all holding hands when you open it) I have one pattern but I'm really not too crazy about. It doesn't have to be a paper doll type, but I would like it to have children on it.
I am willing to pay someone for an original design. I will give credit to the designer at the auction.
