I really like the Baby Lace Blanket pattern offered by Mary Maxim here: http://www.marymaxim.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10054_3074457345616848266_-1_15046_15047

Does anyone know of something similar that would be a free pattern? Just don't have the extra cash right now...

Thanks in advance!

Check out today's free pattern at Annies attic. Its not really like the Mary Maxim one, which kind of looks like it may have been crocheted all in one piece, but it is a baby blanket made out of lacy squares.
If you made the squares all one color, and added wide borders between the squares, the end effect should be similar.

That is so pretty! I would love to have the pattern for that as well!

You could use this pattern. Insted of doing the shell stitch all the way across do a set of six double crochet, maybe 4 shells then double crochet

Hi Braxxi I think that if you go to e-patterns central you can get one like the one I just downloaded. it is called "Perfect in Pink" baby afghan. As a matter of fact this one looks almost like the one in the picture. Hope this helps you out.
