Hi,
I have just thought of another thing to ask you - once I have seen somewhere a glass (you know that tall one you use for wine and such) that was decorated with a crochet lace.It looked like it should be used in a wedding. Do you know where I could find a pattern for something like that? Or maybe do you have any idea how is it called, so that I know the proper name to call it when I try to look for it?
Thanks!!

There is this pattern for sell, scroll to almost the bottom of the page:

If you're on Ravelry search patterns for Anniversary Walts Glass Cover. Those might be the ones you've seen. The pattern is only available from Annie's Crochet Newsletter, Issue 65 Sept-Oct 1993. If you can't get ahold of that issue, at least the photos will give you some ideas on how to wing one on your own.
