Help with Glow in the Dark Yarn

I'm fairly new to the crochet world, I recently purchased 1 ball of glow in the dark yarn 250 yards in length. I bought it on a whim not really thinking of what to make with it.

I need help with some ideas on what to make. I'm a guy age 23 I'd really like something I could use. I tried looking at some friendship type braclets, I've seen a star pattern but I'd like to see if you had something better.

Any ideas would help and would be greatly appreciated, if you have pics of past work that would be nice too. The glow is in green.

You could always make something for yourself such as vest, sweater, hat ... whatever and then use your glow yarn as trim. Just a thought.

i would make a hat or scarf with the glow yarn as trim and/or stripes.

I used glow in the dark yarn as an accent color on a scarf I made for my son for Christmas. He works outside and the stripe really glows at night helping to keep him safe. Do you have a dog? How about a leash with a glow stripe? Or a Collar?

Hmmm! Maybe a headband? I was even thinking it would look great to make some crocheted worms (I've seen a pattern at crochet pattern central). they would go very well for Halloween, or sew ends together to make a bracelet!

Id go with making an afghan then doing a picture in the glow n dark yarn. So, maybe a black afghan with a skull in the glow n dark yarn. That way every night when you go to bed you can enjoy the glowndark effect.

Where did you find glow in the dark yarn?

I know one company made it around Holloween, but I would think that it's long gone now.

My Michaels' never got the stuff in. They got in all the signs but never the yarn (They moved the store down the road and ever since the whole store is all about scrap booking and nothing else.) I had to drive to the other end of town to find some.

I thought it would be fun to make a firefly with. Never found a pattern, I started to make a worm but I lost it. :(
