Hi y'all!

I found this pattern on the DROPS site, and fell in love with it *just* before I saw it was knit :( I was wondering if anyone's seen a pattern for a shawl (or something like a shawl, heck even an afghan) that has this layered "feathers" look?

Looks like mitered squares to me.
Here is an afghan:

That is absolutely gorgeous! I've never tried a pattern like that before. I bet it would be fun to make.

I'm telling y'all ~ if there is a pattern to be found this is the lady who will find it! Empress Busy Bee to the rescue once again! I love that afghan pattern...thank you from the bottom of my :heart.
