Filet Crochet Horse Afghan Pattern

Looking for a free filet crochet horse pattern that is an afghan. Would like a picture of a full horse size not a horse head. I need this for my sister who is a horse fanatic. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't understand, what would I do with a clip art? I have no idea how to do something like that, where would I even begin?

I would pick a simple monochrome horse silhouette, or one with simple lines, right click it and save the file. Then, you can upload the file into the microrevolt utility and it will convert it to a graph.

You might have to 'clean up' some of the graph squares, which can easily be done in the Paint program that comes with Windows (sometimes the edges, even with a black & white image, come out grey, so you'll have to decide if they are 'horse' or 'background').

One thing you will need to calculate is your gauge, so you know how many squares tall and wide your graph needs to be. Assuming you are doing this in yarn...let's say you want a blanket 4'x5'...let's say your gauge is 2 filet mesh per inch...that's 96x120 meshes max.

It's not hard, maybe just a little 'fiddly' to get the look you want :)

Now I see, oh thank you so much for the help. I really like the simplicity of the graph maker. Some are so complicated I have trouble figuring out the math part. I don't know where my brain was yesterday. I think this will be a huge help. Again thanks a bunch!
