Skill Level: This is an intermediate level Tunisian project. The class is meant to challenge Tunisian skills. Students new to Tunisian are welcome to join the class but should understand that extra time may be needed in order to master the stitches. If you would like to try out your Tunisian skills prior to taking this class, please take the Beginner Tunisian Felted Bag class (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=99163).

Class Photo Showcase: Click here (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=99274) to see a photo showcase with pictures of finished items made by Crochetville members who have taken this class in the past. The Photo Showcase area is brand-new and currently under development, so please bear with us as it may take some time for previous students to post their photos.

Description: Be the envy of all your knitting friends and crocheting friends alike! This scarf incorporates the look of knitting with stitches mimicking garter stitch, stockinette stitch and the newly-developed Tunisian drop stitch. Students are not required to finish this project during the one week of class. Class will be focused more on learning the stitches themselves so that the student can complete the project at their leisure.

Supplies Needed:

2 skeins Naturally Caron Country used for this project (Naturally Caron Spa can be used for a lightweight spring accessory)
K afghan hook (I was able to complete this project with a 14" afghan hook, but the stitches were a little tight. A cable extension hook could be used to make it more comfortable.)
Small yarn needle (for weaving ends)

Class Policies: Click here (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=61285) to read our Online Class Policies for students. Please read these policies prior to registering for a class.

Maximum Number of Students Accepted: Approximately 45

Hi Kim, I am very much interested in this class, however, I have never made anything using the tunisian crochet method. I am signed up for the Beginners Felted Bag, will that give the enough experience to sign up for this class? I did the SS, KS, PS from a video I watched and I think that I am understanding it. I like how it looks knitted but I am not using knitting needles. Please let me know that way I can sign up for this before I miss it. Thanks in advance.

Hi Kim, very pretty scarf. I usually just grab a pattern and work it out, but I think I will take your class just for the fun of it!
