I made this using Patons Classic Wool - Merino and a size K Tunisian hook. I think my hook is 14 inches long, but it could have been done with a shorter hook. It was a really fun pattern. It was my second attempt at felting, first time felting wool (the first time I felted alpaca). I felted it in my washing machine. I think I went a little overboard with the felting, because it ended up a little bit smaller than what I had hoped for, but overall I am happy. This short row technique is so cool. I am definitely planning to try this one again, and either not felt it, or felt it for a shorter length of time.

Here is a pre-felting picture:

Here are pictures of my bag before felting and after felting. I used I Love This Wool from Hobby Lobby and a bamboo size "K" hook. I didn't use an afghan hook because they are awkward to work with especially on a short row technique. Thanks for looking!
