got MI done. yep...its a mitten. looks just like michigan if i do say so myself. i just couldnt think of anything else to do. it will go out hopefully this week.

Sharing his latest picture. It was taken right after his last patrol for this years deployment. Had been a long night...
I was shocked at how grown up he looks and wondered where my little boy I sent to Iraq went....

The time seems like it's flying, to you it probably isn't. It won't be too much longer now.

Thought I would post an update on my project. I am hopeful it will be okay. The ornament I ordered came in today but I'm going to let that be a surprise.

Hope everyone else is having fun with their ornaments.

Thanks for sharing the picture! I have two ornaments done. They aren't really Indiana-related as I couldn't get anything to work. They are pretty though. They should go out in the mail today (unless I forget again). One is for Indiana and the other can go to any state you have left over.

Are all the states taken??? And has anyone done anything that just says "USA" on it???
I would have loved to have participated in this project, but if all are taken even "USA" then I won't worry about it, but I just want to say.....
thank God for people like your son and "I luv the military" and thank them for all they've done for me.
