I made 2 very simple v-stitch lapghans for my cousins. One is a pattern by Lion's Brand called 5 1/2 hour blanket or something like that. The other is a pattern by Red Heart. They are both very quick and easy.

I made my grandsons each a teddy bear (used a smaller hook for the younger one so it turned out smaller) last Christmas:

This is the pattern. http://www.allfreecrafts.com/crochet/teddy-bear.shtml I did not make the whole outfit for them, just the shirt. It is a pretty easy pattern and turned out very cute.

Oh, also, this year I am making my grandsons snowmen like I just posted on a thread here, but making theirs two sided and lightly stuffed.

How about snuggly afgahns personalized for each one along with a matching pillow or animal/ami. You can put their names in each one also or the kind with different colors and size shapes and items to match (for matching games for the little ones). It would be their very own personal blanket and pillow.

The 6 month old is a given, cute dress and toy of some sort. The same with the 1 and 2 year olds, an outfit along with a stuffy of some sort.

Good luck.

I'm working on purses for my 4 nieces. You might even find small ones to make for the 3 year olds (make them feel grown up like mommy). I saw cute little change purse on-line that looks like a chocolate cookie which I will make for each of my nieces to go inside each purse. I found them on Lion Brand Web Site.

My younger grandkids loved receiving amigurumi's of their favorite animated programs. One thing that is very popular again is Pokemon, Sponge Bob and Pacman.

Little girls love purses and hats too.
