Baby Sock Monkey

This is my attemp at a Baby Sock Monkey.

MATERIALS:
Use size 4 yarn
Around an Ounce of Main Color (Brown, Grey, or color of your choice)
Less than an ounce of color A (White, Natural, or color of your choice)
Very small amout of color B (Red, or color of your choice)
Size G crochet hook
Black Embroidery Floss (for nose)
Two 10mm saftey eyes
Stuffing
Yarn needle


First Leg
Rnd 1: With color A, 6 sc in adjustable ring (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc (12)
Rnd 3-6: sc in each sc (12)
Rnd 7-13: change to MC, sc in each sc (12)
Rnd 14: sc in each sc, fasten off, stuff leg (12)

Second Leg
Work same as first leg, do not fasten off, join with sl st in last sc of first leg

Body
Rnd 1: with MC, ch 1, sc in each sc around first leg, sc in each sc in second leg (24)
Rnd 2-10: sc in each sc (24)
Rnd 11: sc in next 2 sc, dec (18)
Rnd 12: sc in next sc, dec (12)

Head
Rnd 13: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc (18)
Rnd 14: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc (24)
Rnd 15: sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc (30)
Rnd 16-21: sc in each sc, Add eyes in between rnds 19 and 20, 6 sc apart (30)
Rnd 22: with color A, sc in next 3 sc, dec (24)
Rnd 23: sc in next 2 sc, dec (18)
Rnd 24: sc in next sc, dec (12)
Rnd 25: dec (6)

Arms make two
Rnd 1: with color A, 6 sc in adjustable ring (6)
Rnd 2: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc (9)
Rnd 3-6: sc in each sc (9)
Rnd 7-13: with MC, sc in each sc (9)
Rnd 14: dec 4 times,sl st in last sc, fasten off, stuff, joint arms to body (5)

Note: to join arms to body, take a piece of yarn and run it threw the inside of the arm, then threw the body, then threw the inside of other arm, the back threw the body, then tie the strands together, tighten and your finished.

Ears make two
Rnd 1: with MC, 6 sc in adjustable ring (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in the next 4 sc (8)
Rnd 3: ch 1, turn, sc in same st as ch 1, sc in next 7 sc, fasten off, leave a 12" tail for sewing to the side of head (16)

Note: for smaller ears, fasten off after round two

Tail
Work same as arms threw round 13, sc in each sc on the next round, fasten off, center between legs and sew to body.

Muzzle
Rnd 1: with color B, ch 7, sc in 2nd ch from hook, and in next 4, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc, join with sl st to first sc (14)
Rnd 2: with color A, sc in next 6 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 6 sc, 3 sc in next sc (18)
Rnd 3: sc in next 7 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 8 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next sc (22)
Rnd 4: Sc in next 8 sc, 3 sc in nect sc, sc in next 10 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, fasten off, leave a 12" tail for sewing.(26)
