Hi, the picture of the square I scanned in 2 parts and then put the 2 parts together to give you an idea how the whole square would look. (Don't have a digital camera) I appologize for the end in the pic, I just noticed it.

There's a graph at the end of the pattern if you have any problems.

Please send me a pm if you find any errors.
(I crochet left handed, so there was some figuring out for these directions.)

Worsted Weight yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn)
Size H hook (5.00mm)
Yarn needle (to weave in ends)

Finish Size: 12”h x 12” w inches

Notes:

Beginning Ch3 for Rnds 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 counts as dc.

Where you join the square (first heart) will be the bottom of the square.

Directions:

Rnd 1: Ch5, join with sl st to first chain to form ring, ch3, 2 dc in ring, [ch3, 3 dc in ring] Do this 3 times, ch3, join with sl st to top of beginning ch3.
(12dc, 4-ch3 spaces)

Rnd 2: Ch3, 1 dc in each of the next 2 sts, (2 dc, ch3, 2 dc) all in next ch3 space, [1 dc in each of the next 3 sts, (2 dc, ch3, 2 dc) all in next ch3 space] Do this 3 times join with sl st to top of beginning ch3.
