Sorry, I've looked everywhere I could think of and can't seem to find anything other than the one listed above... Good luck!

pattern needed for Cake

I would crochet a circle however big you want your cake....then I would stop increasing and just single crochet...this will make your work turn down. If you get my meaning. After you make the cake as tall as you want you could go back and crochet around the sides with 5 or 6 chain stitches so that it would look like little looping in the frosting...attach the chains with slip stitches to the sides of the cake.
What an imagination I have huh?
With a crochet hook you can usually create anything.

How about if you crochet a circle for the top then do a rectangle strip of basket weave for the side and attach it to the top? Then you could either stiffen it or stuff it and decorate the top w/crocheted flowers and stuff? Or you could just do a regular rectangle strip and decorate that w/crocheted vines and flowers. Now I must remember this and try it myself! LOL

Hmmm...I have an idea. Why not make a striped scarf (Stripes would be the trim on the cake top edge and lower edge) with the stripes running lengthwise. Then roll the scarf up and pin it. Put candles on the top and a few rose pins or something. It would look like a cake and then be a scarf for afterwards.
