Camoflauge crochet??

I'm looking for a camoflauge pattern to crochet a blanket for my son for his birthday. I have had no luck. Any help will be greatly appreciated

There is a camoflauge yarn available. Why not just make him an afghan out of it? If I remember correctly, I think it's a Red Heart yarn.

The Red Heart isn't incredibly soft, but I can vouch that it comes together quite nicely. Very "camouflage-y". I've done a baby sweater & a beret in it so far. It's personal preference, of course, but it works up very nicely with a J hook.

There are more companies that make cammo yarn and for the life of me I can't think of them right now..must be too early. Try knitpicks.com or even ebay, there is a company that has hand dyed cammo yarn.

I did a hat and scarf for my daughter out of it. It works up really nicely.

This was red heart "camo". It actually worked up soft enough after washing.

I am using it right now on a throw for my soldier hubby to take with him to Afghanistan. It looks really neat when used! I'm using a K hook and it looks wonderful!

Bernat also makes the camoflauge yarn. They have a whole line of colors, blue, white/black, creams, browns and greens. I really like it, although I can't buy it locally. I have to order it on-line.

I made hooded sweaters and caps for my DGS. I used Red Heart for one ( more the green camo), the other used Bernat outback ( more desert stom camo) I got them at Hobby Lobby. I think Wal-Mart has the Red Heart..
