4 ply-yarn and pony beads

wanna make a sweater for DD with 4 ply-yarn and pony beads.....how do I work it ????
any help will be greatly apprechiated...

I've never done this, but I've been told that you can string the beads onto the yarn before you begin, then move the beads up as you need them.

Don't do what I did. Once I made a purse (well, okay, it's been sitting unfinished for months because I'm too lazy to sew the bamboo handle on it) and of course I didn't really plan it out well. I found some beads after I started the project. I was too lazy to start all over, so I got this grand idea I'd hand sew the beads on. I just did them randomly, so it wasn't a lot of beads, but when you hate to hand sew like I do, you feel like throwing the whole project across the room before you get done. That's probably why it's still and unfinished project six months later......
