Confetti the Party Cat

As usual, I took a wee bit too many pictures again! I used this mask pattern for her party mask... http://hometown.aol.com/lffunt/mask.html I just had to make it a little smaller. I made her hat by copying the tail directions only making it fan (or taper) out quicker by doubling the extra sc stitch required in the pattern. She is made from all cotton Sugar n Cream yarns with a silver, sparkly yarn thread around the trim. You can't really see how sparkly it is in the sun. I named her Confetti because thats is what this yarn, (with the specks throughout), reminded me of. The pattern is really wonderful and I recommend it to anyone who loves to make cats and stuffed toys like I do. edit: Oh! her eyes are store bought cat's eyes. You can get a package of about 3 or 4 sets in each. The purple flowers are made of felt and sewn on. Last edited by Becks; March 30, 2006 at 11:51 AM.
