looking for Holland,,Dutch,,Danish,,Netherland crochet doily patterns on the net

Looking for crochet patterns for doilys. I have been searching for days --past 2 weeks for doily patterns from Dutch,,Netherland,,Danish,,Holland and not having any luck of what I am looking for. I keep coming across knitting. I don't want knitting but in crochet doilys patterns. If anyone has any ideas can you send me the link...

I know there is more just not having any luck findning it.

years ago there was a link that had German,, and a bunch of countrys on one web page it took me several weeks to go thru the whole thing. It was all in crochet pattterns.... I cannot find that web page either.

I am pretty good about finding patterns on the net but this one from Holland --Netherlands is a hard one.

Sorry I can't help you--but wanted to let you know that a "Danish" pattern is going to be from Denmark, not the Netherlands! (unless you're interested in patterns from Denmark, too...) I'm curious, what's behind your request? Are you doing doilies from several different countries, or is it a present for a Dutch person, or...?

Oh,,, ok I did that wrong.. Its Netherlands OR Holland crochet doilies I am looking for.

Yes, I am making a doilie for my mom friend. We have known her for a very long time...But I needed more information from mom abut her likes and dislikes etc on colors and such. Mom didn't even know..so I call her and ask her directtly. And then started to get more ideas ,, then thinking ,,, na that wouldn't be her etc... so then I got to thinking shes has went everywhere with her husband from the military so I will make one from her favorite travels.
She has traveled around the world being military. She told my mom a couple of weeeks back she would like a doily like the one I made my mom.

So on the hunt...

thanks for any help~~~

If a filet doilie would serve, you could check this site. The owner/designer is originally from Germany I believe.

http://www.hassdesign.com/

If you are willing to buy some patterns.. this site sells foreign pattern magazines. Not much description on the site, but some things really look like crochet from the pictures and perhaps the staff can give you further info.

www.taigayarns.com

Crochet is often bundled in with knitting on foreign sites, so do look through them even if it seems to be just knitting. Other terms I've ran across are "binding by the hook" and "Brugger Hakelei"

Have fun!!!

Oh,, I know it it very ,,,very,,,very,, hard to find patterns for Holland -Netherland crochet pattns for doilies... I have come across German,,Italian,, Russian,, among a few other countries... I have spent the last 2 weeks on-off of the computer ---mostly on the computer ---looking at seems like tons of sites. What is the name of the book? Maybe I can still find it. I would love for you to do that but I don't know what I want till I see it..That is why I rather just find the books....Could you post the name of book and authur? I have even searched magazines and with those I get Italian and Russan.. there is tons of those...
Thank so much...,,,,,,,,
