How about Capris pants size 4T?

Ok how about some Capris pants..those are cute.. anyone know where I can find a pattern for those size 4T-5T? I think those would be so cute.. TA-TA 4 now!!

I've never seen them, but I have an idea for you. If you purchase a sewing pattern that you like, you can crochet the pieces to fit the pattern (just lay the crochet right over top of the pattern pieces to check as you go). Then sew the pieces together according to the pattern.

Most pants patterns require 4 pieces (2 in front and 2 in back), but if you look closely you can find some patterns that just have 2 pieces which wrap from center waist to center back around each side. Then you would only have leg inseams and crotch seaming.

That is a great idea.. I have thought of that before but just never did it.. I am just now finishing up a pair of shorts I have made up.. I will post them in 30 min. or so.. I think if I follow what I did witht he shorts and just decrease a little on the legs I maybe able to do them.. it was just a thought.. I really like your idea though and I will give that a try..thanks for your help..

I just looked through the new Crochet Fantasy magazine (at Wal-Mart) and it has a set you might want to look at. A top and matching pants. You could make them a tad shorter for capris. They were size 2 - 4 - 6 I believe.
