Looking a single skein project

I'm part of the One Skein Secret Pal thingy and August is the finale. Part of the finale is you create something for your secret pal with a single skein of yarn. And I'm stuck.
Some of the stuff in the book is cute, but...
I have just about every yarn known, so finding a type, gauge, etc., won't be a problem.
so, any ideas?

Yes, I know LionBrand has one Skein Scarfs. In fact I just printed it out since I am going to make a scarf. My first one!
