icicle by beth eathorne

First thank you Beth for the pattern and for helping my out by doing this for me.

I asked if anyone knew of any icicle patterns and Beth sent me this. It is her original pattern so please honor this and do not post anywhere else. I have her permission to post her on Crochetville though.

ch 10 form ring
1.in ring, ch3 ,dc 5, ch 6, dc 6 ,turn slip st across last dc6 to middle ch,
2. repeat row 3 xs by
3. working in the middle 6 ch. from row above ch 3 dc 4, ch 5, dc5. turn slip st across top last dc 5
4. repeat (row 3 )3x
5.working in middle ch from row, ch 3 dc 3, ch 4, dc 4, turn slip st
across top last dc 4,
6.repeat ( row 5) 3x
7.working in middle ch for abv row ch 3 dc 2 ch 3, dc 3, turning slip st across top of last dc 3 to middle chain,
8.repeat ( row 7) 3x
9.working in middle ch for abv row ch 3 dc 1, ch2, dc 2, turning slip st across top of last dc2
10.repeat (row 9) 3x's

you should have 4 rows of each set of clusters,
20 rows in all , the 1st dc all ways counts as your first dc of the cluster

I have a picture of the first one of finished but it isn't starched yet.
The only thing I did differently was on the final row of 10 I did hdc and ch 1 to finish up the bottom.

i found the original icicle in a box of my great grandmothers crochet and copied it from hers. I love to look at things that she made. It makes me remember sitting and crocheting with her. I loved to do that. She has been gone from here since 1998, She was 97 when she left us and i still think of her as the cute little grandmother. So the credit really needs to go to my Grandma Jenkins.
