Baby boy crochet patterns

Hey Everyone.
I am looking for patterns for baby boy items. Someone I know online (Not on crochetville or the crochet club ) Is expecting a boy, and we are trying to do a sort of shower. I don't think she needs blankets. Any ideas?

That might work. I just found another pattern search for baby boy things here on page two. So I'll check those out as well.

Little hand mitts (mittens without thumbs) to keep the newborn from scratching himself. We loved those when my son was first born, because his nails were so hard to cut and he always grabbed at his face.

Here's an idea

What about making something to fit an older baby? New borns out grow things so quickly, and I always found it to be a bit frustrating to have this lovely little sweater set only to have the little one outgrow it in just a few weeks.

I did a search and here's some of what I found that would be appropriate for a baby boy. Sonny

Re: Here's an idea

the ones I could look at were great Sonny! but, unfortunatly I can't get Adobe reader to work, so I can't get the patterns form Freepatterns.com. (And I am a member.)
Thanks!

Well, I guess that you can follow a link without being a member. It's our Adobe Reader that's the problem. Not their site.
