Question Re Fun Fur Flip Flops

Can someone tell me how many balls of the fun fun it takes? Also what size hook to use? I'd like to make a pair for my DIL. I like to make sure I have enough yarn when I start things, since I live out in the country and just running into town for a ball of yarn is a real pain.

I would say with one ball of the fun fur you could make at least two pairs of the flip flops, possibly more. I made two pairs with mine, but I also put an edging on a hat and I have a little bit left.

It says here:

...that you use an I hook and you can probably get three pairs done with one ball.
