seeking a basketweave knit

I am looking for a easy basketweave knit pattern for a baby blanket. Can anyone help me.

I know of a basketweave type of turnout that is made from a crochet --- a variation of the afghan stitch or tunisian stitch.
If you are interested I could refer you to the book I have to learn that type of crochet -- or if you already know, then I can just tell you how to do the stitch . . .
