Bookmark pattern

I'd like to make a bookmark. I'm thinking of something quite intricate, a lace pattern worked in a fine cotton. Anyone come across any good patterns?

I guess in a pinch I could design something myself using a crochet stitch reference book, but the difficult part would be working out the start and end, and the edges. I was hoping for an easier option

there are a few good ones at Denise Crochets especially if you like the boullion stitch.

Oh, Dail, I think Denise's bookmark patterns with the bullion (sp?) stitch are absolutely stunning! They look a little too complicated for me yet, though. I've done her Mrs. G's bookmark and loved it.

Ooooh, those are lovely. Thanks, Dail, that's the sort of thing I was looking for.
