...all the children of he world

.. red and yellow, black, and white
They are precious in his sight
Jesus loves the little children of the world.

My middle daughter talked me into posting this pattern.
I am not sure why I started making these little guys. The kids at her school LOVE them. Go figure!

Supplies needed:
small amounts of ww yarn
F Hook
Polypellets (optional)
Fiberfill
Googly eyes
Terms used
Ch = chain
Sc = single crochet
Sc-dec = single crochet decrease over 2 stiches

Tall Skinny Head

3) (2sc in next sc, sc in next sc) repeat around. (18 sc)
4-10) sc in each sc around
11) (sc-dec, sc in next sc) repeat around (12 sc)
STUFF (use polypellets to fill bottom half to help stand up better)
12) sc -dec around (6 sc)
slp st to next sc
FO
Use tail end to sew hole shut

For hair
Cut several strands of yarn about 6 inches long.
insert hook into head from behind a sc, with the hook coming our in front of selected sc. Grab middle of yard strands with hook and pull through stitch, ( Like you would latch hook!) making a small loop.
Pull all free ends of yarn strand through loop, pulling tight to head.

Glue or sew on eyes.
Decorate as desired!
