Handphone Dual-Pocket Multipurpose Pouch

Materials

4mm crochet hook (size G)
Crochet cotton/worsted weight yarn
Needle and thread
2 zippers
1 decorative button.

Part 1 (Side of pouch – 25 st by 35 rows)
Chain 26 st, turn.
Row 1-34: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across row. Ch 1, turn. (25 st)
Row 35: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across row. Fasten off. (25 st)

Part 2 (Handphone compartment walls)
Turn Part 1 with its right side facing you and the last row (row 35) at the bottom.
At its 2nd row, locate the 8th st from the right edge. Join new yarn with slst into this st.
Continue to slst across the row from right to left until you have 16 st.
Ch 1, turn.
Row 1-20: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across row. Ch 1, turn. (16 st)
Row 21: Locate the 12th row, 3rd st from the left edge on Part 1 (st A). Insert hook into 2nd ch from hook and slst into st A. Slst across the row from right to left in the same manner, to attach Part 2 to Part 1. After the 16th slst, fasten off.

Part 3 (Handphone compartment bottom)
On Part 1, locate its 2nd row, 2nd st from left edge.
Join with new yarn with slst into this st across 11 rows. Ch 1, turn. (11 st)
Row 1-5: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across row. Ch 1, turn. (11 st)
After 5th row, fasten off.

Attach Part 2 to Part 3
Using needle and thread, sew the edge of Part 2 to edge of Part 3.

Part 4 (Handphone flap)
On Part 1, locate its 13th row, 2nd st from right edge.
Join new with slst into this st.
Continue to slst across the row from right to left until you have 12 st.
Ch 1, turn.
Row 1-19: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across row. Ch 1, turn. (12 st)
Row 20: Sc2tog in 2nd ch and 3rd ch from hook. Sc across the row until 2 ch remain. Sc2tog in last 2 ch. Ch 1, turn. (10 st)
Row 21: Repeat row 20. (8 st)
Row 22: Repeat row 20. (6 st)
Row 23: Repeat row 20 and fasten off. (4 st)

Part 5 (Button loop)
Join new yarn with slst to 2nd ch on row 23.
Ch 12.
Slst to 3rd ch on row 23.
Fasten off.

Part 6 (Side of pouch – 15 st by 5 rows)
Ch 16.
Row 1-5: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across row. Ch 1, turn. (15 st)
After 5th row, fasten off.
Make 2 of Part 6.

Attach Part 6 to Part 1
Using needle and thread, sew the edge of Part 6 (15 st + 5 rows + 15 st) to the edge of Part 1 along its 35 rows.
Do this to attach both sides of the pouch.

Part 7 (wall between 2 zipper compartments – 25 st by 17 rows)
Ch 26.
Row 1-17: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across row. Ch 1, turn. (25 st)
After 17th row, fasten off.

Attach Part 7 to Part 6 and Part 1
Using needle and thread, sew the edge of Part 7 to middle of Part 6 along its length and the middle of Part 1 along its width.
Sew the edge of the zippers to the sides of Part 1, Part 7 and Part 6 for both compartments.

Attach a button to Part 2 for the button loop.

oh thank you so much for sharing this pattern!!!! it seems kinda difficult, how difficult do you think it is? and what size zippers did you use?
