La Sylphide Fingerless Gloves

I Hook
WW Yarn. I used Red Heart’s baby ombre, but you could use any color. I think pastels or light colors would definitely be best.

Ch 25, join to form ring.

Rnd 1: ch 3, 1 dc in each ch, join in first dc (ch 3 does not count)

Rnd 2: ch 3, dc in each dc, join.

Rnd 3: ch 4, ch 1 dc, dc in next dc, *ch 1 sk 1 dc, dc in next dc* around, end w/ch 1, join in third chain of beg ch-4

Rnd 4: ch 3, dc in first dc, ch 7, skip 3 spaces, dc in next dc, dc in each dc and space around, join in first dc.

Rnd 5: ch 3, dc around making 7 dcs over chains, join.

Rnd 6: rep rnd 3.

Rnd 7: ch 4, skip first dc, *ch 1, sk 1 dc, dc in next dc* around, end with ch 1, join in third chn of beg ch-4.

Rnd 8-9: rep rnd 7.

Rnd 10: ch 5, skip first dc, *ch 2, sk 1 dc, dc in next dc* around, end with ch 2, join in third chn of beg ch-5.

Rnd 11: ch 6, skip first dc, *ch 3, sk 1 dc, dc in next dc* around, end with ch 3, join in third chn of beg ch-6.

Rnd 12: ch 3, dc in first dc, 3 dc in ea sp and 1 dc in ea dc around, join in first dc, FO

Wings (make 2):
Row 1: ch 6, dc in third chain and next three.

Row 2: ch 3, turn, 2 dc in ea dc across.

Row 3: ch 3, turn, 2 dc in next 4 sts, ch 3, sl st in sane st as last dc, sl st in next st, ch 3, 2 dc in same st, 2 dc in last three sts, FO

You could try your own design for the wings if these seem to solid. I might post a different wing pattern later.
