:flower Really Big flowers?

I've got a in my bonnet for making really big crochet flowers. I'm mean REALLY BIG. Like the size of a dinner plate or larger. Anyone got any idea where I might find some patterns? If all else fails, I can try enlarging some patterns I already have but would be easier to use a pre-existing pattern. in advance for any/all help.

You may want to check out Mommachelle's site www.luv2crochet.com she has a beautiful flower pillow on her site under free patterns. She has come up with the cutest patterns. The girls got talent!

Also, check out magazines or books that are just for afghans. Some of them have large flowers that would be very easy to scale up.

That's a great idea and I have tons of mags/books on afghans. Thanx for the idea!

I've got several ideas I'm working on for the flowers.
1. An afghan made of them. Attaching the petals together instead of making the squares with flowers in them.
2. Would make a really cool scarf if I had about 10 the size of dinner plates or larger.
3. Would make a cool shawl made of them, or poncho.
4. Put them on stems and in a big vase to sit on the floor.
5. Decorate my daughter's bedroom walls. She loves flowers.

These are just some of the ideas I have in mind for them.
