scarf pattern for baby Alpaca

I bought some lovely baby alpaca (Inca gold) yarn. (not because I needed more yarn)
My daughter would like a hat and scarf made from it. Since I only worked w. WW or heavier yarns, I am not sure what pattern would work well out of something this fine. ( I have not been crocheting that long)
Any ideas?
Thanks
Kathy

you can either double it up to make it thicker.. or use a pattern intended for larger yarn with a hook the appropriate size for the yarn and then just maybe double the width..
