crocheted roman cape

very old pattern, crocheted in a circle with armholes,lovers knot lace edging, when wearing ,the top part of circle, can be a collar or hood. made in double crochet...help...sallybb

I have one I made many years ago, I might look at it and write a pattern, I made ponchos for all my daughters and granddaughters for Christmas so am tired of ponchos for awhile.I'm new on this site , so not too sure of my posting. Thanks for the help. blessings sally

i would think you could take a round table cloth pattern and adjust it to your needs?

I think I saw a post on something like it on the about.com forum.

Please I would love a copy of this pattern, I've looked for it for some time now and this is the first time I've even heard of someone else that knows what it is. If anyone has a copy they could send that would be wonderful!
