Looking for Quick and Easy Lapghan

Hi! I recently made a giant granny square throw and I'm almost done with another one for a baby. My daughter wants me to make her a throw for her birthday (June 6). I decided to make throws for her brother and sister, too, which need to be done by June 13. I was originally thinking of doing all of these as giant granny squares because they're fast and easy. However, after doing 2 of them, I'm getting a little bored. What would be a good alternative that is also quick and easy? I'm open to variations on granny squares. These are for teenagers, if that helps. Thanks!

Here is the link for the 5 1/2 hr. afghan from lions brand. I made thes one the other day ( the med. coral one I listed in show n tell under 2 charity items finished. I did have to revise how I made mine. Not enough donated yarn) It took me more time than that, but it was still really quick.
