Littlest Ever Snowman!

This little guy only takes a few minutes to finish, but he's cute as can be. Sorry there's no picture, I am blind. He is 3-d and will look cute hanging from a tree.

LITTLE SNOWMAN

Size: About 2-1/2 inches tall.

Materials: Worsted weight yarn, small amount white and desired
color for hat and scarf; G crochet hook; fiberfill; yarn needle.

Starting at bottom with white, ch 2.

Rnd 1: 6 Sc in 2nd ch from hook. Do not join, mark beg of rnds.

Rnd 2: 2 Sc in each sc around: 12.

Rnd 3: * Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc; rep from * around: 18.

Rnds 4-6: Sc in each sc around.

Rnd 7: * Sc next 2 sc together; rep from * around: 9.

Rnd 8: Sc in each sc around.

Rnd 9: * Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc; rep from * around: 14.

Rnds 10 & 11: Sc in each sc around.

Rnd 12: * Sc in next sc, sc next 2 sc together; rep from * around:
9. Fasten off white and sew in ends.

Hat:

Rnd 1: (brim) Working in front lps only of Rnd 12, join hat color
and work 2 sc in each sc around, join with sl st in first sc, sl st
in back lp of rem lp of same rnd: 18.

Rnd 2: (hat top) Working in rem back lps only of Rnd 12, sc in each
sc around.

Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around. Stuff body and hat.

Rnd 4: Working in back lps only, * sc next 2 sc together; rep from
* around, join with sl st in next st. Fasten off leaving a long end
for sewing. Working through front lps only, sew top of hat closed.

Scarf: With desired color, ch 30 or so. Fasten off. From same color
or scarf color and hat color, cut 2 pieces of yarn about 4 inches
long and work fringe on each end of scarf. Tie scarf around neck.

Finishing: With black, work two small french knots for eyes just
below brim of hat. Attach a hanger to top of hat for hanging
snowman on tree.

2-1\2" is really small! That beats the smallest snowman I've ever made it was 4" and I thought that tiny! Thanks for sharing the pattern. I think I'll give it a try tonight!
