H Hook

abbreviations used:
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
sc – single crochet
ea – each
sl st – slip stitch
cr st – cross stitch

Special stitch – cr st - Skip next st, dc in next st; working around last st made, dc in skipped st.

Note: Do not join rounds. If need be, mark the beginning of the round with a stitch marker.

Row 1: ch 2, 6 sc in 1st ch. do not join. (6 sc)

Row 2: 2 sc in ea st around. (12 sc)

Row 3: (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next sc) around. (18 sc)

Row 4: (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next 2 sc) around. (24 sc)

Row 5: (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next 3 sc) around. (30 sc)

Row 6: (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next 4 sc) aound. (36 sc)

Row 7 thru 24: 1 sc in ea sc around. (36 sc)

Row 25: sl st in next sc, ch 3, *cr st around, sl st in beg ch 3.

Row 26: ch 3, *cr st around, sl st in beg ch 3.

Row 27: 1 sc in ea sc around. (36 sc). Sl st in beg sc. Ch 50, sl st in same st as joining. 1 sc in each ch. Join with a sl st in beg sc. Fasten off and weave in ends.
