I made up a pattern for a cute little doily (look under thread show and tell for pictures of it) and liked the pattern so well decided to make a shawl.... What do you think??? It took 1 pound of Love to make it...

1 skein of Pound of Love
Size H hook
Size center to edge 29"
Ch 6, join to form a circle
Row 1- 8 dc, ch3 turn (Ch 3 always counts as first dc on each row)
Row 2- 2 dc in each dc - 16 total, ch 3 turn
Row 3 - Dc, ch 1 in each dc total 16 dc and 16sc, ch 3 turn
Row 4- dc in first sc, ch 1, 2dc in next space, ch1 2dc all around total 28 dc 14 sc, Ch 3 turn
Row 5- 2 dc in first space, then 3 dc in each space around end with 1dc in last dc of last row--total 52dc, ch 3 turn
Row 6- dc in each dc around total 52 dc, ch 5 turn
Row 7- Skip 1 dc dc in next dc ,ch 2, skip 1 dc dc in next dc, around total 21dc (including 1st ch 5) 20ch2 spaces, ch 3 turn
Row 8- 2 dc in space, 1 dc in dc from last row, 2dc in space, all around total 61 dc, ch 5 turn
Row 9- repeat row 7 total 31 dc 30 ch 32 spaces, ch 3 turn
Row 10- (2 dc in space, skip dc from last row, 2dc in space, dc in dc from last row), repeat around total 73 dc, ch 5 turn
Row 11-Repeat row 7 total 37 dc 36 ch 2 spaces, ch 3 turn
