Crochet thread wrist band

I have finally found time to post up my wrist band pattern!

This wrist band is made using size 10 crochet thread and a size 3 thread crochet hook. You will also need 2 small buttons.

Gauge: Wrist band should be around 2.5 inches wide.

Pattern: Ch 25 sts

Row 1: 2 dc in 4th chain from hook **skip 2 ch, 3 dc in next ch** repeat across row. 8 shells

Row 2: Ch 3, turn work, 2 dc in 4th st from hook (counting the ch sts). **skip 2 sts, 3 dc in next sts** Repeat across row.

Repeat row 2 until the desired length is reached. The wrist band should be slightly longer than the circumference of the wrist. To finish: sew 2 small buttons on one side. Hide all ends. To wear you need to push the buttons though the holes on the other side.

Please tell me if I have made any mistakes and I will be sure to fix them. If you make this pattern out of worsted weight yarn and a size US-J hook, it will make a nice scarf!
