"X" marks the spot. How to join 2 items with an "X" instructions

try to make an "X" like this.
Using which ever yarn and hook you'd like to use:
Ch4, sl st in the place where you want the first point of the "X" to start, then sl st in the 4 ch just made. After each leg is complete you'll always end up in the middle, right back where you started.
Repeat this 3 times making sure that the legs of the "X" have an equal amount of space between them.
When your 4th leg is finished sl st at the base of the first leg (the middle of the "X" and fasten off yarn. Pulling the yarn down through the middle of the "X" is really helpful. Weave in ends and your good to go!!

Here's a pic. If anyone has a hard time understanding it I'll try to write it with a little more clarity.

The way they could have done it just sort of came to me when I saw it (in another thread here on the ville) so I kinda just wrote it out as I worked it. To make it a little tighter while keeping the legs longer just use more chain and a smaller hook (instead of chaining 4 try 6, 8, or 10. Just whatever looks best to you).

Hope this helps at least a little.

You're welcome!! I hope it's clear enough. If someone would like to work it up really quick like that'd be awesome. Takes like 2 minutes. It's untested so there might be some flaws and there will be some ways to write it out so it will be clearer. Just not sure how right now.

Thanks

Julee
