Hats!

I wanted to send my "goddaughter" who lives in NY a little something for her 2 daughters and 2 stepsons and had the idea of making them all some cute winter hats. The girls' hats were made following this pattern and the boys' is my own adaptation of a basic hat. Trying to guess what colors/styles they would like was a bit of a challenge but I have a feeling they're going to like them, anyway, I enjoyed making them quite a bit!

I read your post very early yesterday morning but since I didn't write a pattern because I just "stitched and frogged" until I got it "right", I had to make a mental note to sit down and count the rows, etc. and write it all down.

I do have to clarify that I made these hats for young boys so you'll need to make some adjustments to fit your 13 y.o. son, I posted my suggestions there too.
